"Beyond the Lemonade Stand Entrepreneur Camp for Girls" is a fun, hands-on camp that inspires and educate young girls ages 9 to 17 to have a "mindset" for entrepreneurship. The camp focuses on what it takes to start a small business, to include learning about the formation of ideas, opportunity recognition, market research, sales and business financials, customer service, how to find the right people, and the importance of giving back to the community.
Throughout the day, the camp participants will engage in a project-based activity. This activity will teach them "how to think and act like an entrepreneur - see an opportunity, strategize, act on it, persevere and learn from setbacks and change course in a way that leads to success."
Entrepreneurs, Karen R. Jenkins, Principal with KRJ Consulting, LLC; Tameika Isaac Devine, Attorney with Jabber & Issac, PA; Lasenta Lewis-Ellis, President/CEO with LLE Construction Group, LLC; and Dalhi Myers, Managing Principal with Myers, LLC - Business Lawyers, brings a wealth of business and entrepreneurial knowledge and experiences to camp participants. They will discuss what has and hasn't worked throughout their journey as an entrepreneur. Be ready and set to learn what it takes to operate "Beyond the Lemonade Stand."

"In education it isn’t how much you have committed to memory or even how much you know. It’s being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you don’t. It’s knowing where to go to find out what you need to know and it’s knowing how to use the information you get." – William Feather
